A 14 year old street cat, taken in by loving owners about 8 years ago, Gemma 
was always crying/howling in her sleep. Although never a very affectionate or 
sociable cat she was getting worse in her behaviour of avoiding people and 
putting herself into her cat cage to hide. After 3 treatments by Doc Jamieson 
including chiropractic adjustments, laser acupuncture and reiki Gemma has been 
skooting around the house like a kitten and did not go back in that cage!

To whom it may concern, and 
especially those with an elderly cat 

We have a 16 year old puss called Gemma (or Gemmy!) who has had a rough life before we finally enticed her into our home over a number of months.  She had been living on the street in a gutter, suffering the elements of winter and summer and not cared for by her previous owners.  

She was 8 when I took her in and now she is a spritely 16 year old with the energy of a kitten (when she is awake that is).  She does not trust humans much, but still she brings us a lot of joy, even with her attitude and aloofness. 

The last 18 months or so, she would start ‘crying’ as if in pain, whether it is arthritis or nerve problems.  I went to a number of traditional Vets who really did not know what was wrong, and basically suggested Cortisone.  In my heart I did not want to put her through that, as I did not want her to experience the side effects.

I had heard of Doc Jamieson a number of years ago, and thought I would give him a go.  I 'googled' him and made contact.  Doc came as soon as he could and drove all the way from Gympie and we are at Ferny Grove!  His genuine concern for animals is so apparent, I knew that she was in good hands, when he worked on her.  Gemmy has had a number of chiropractic treatments done on her by Doc, and even though she doesn’t relish the ‘session’ she always seems to be feeling much better.

I have no doubt that what Doc does assists her old bones and nerves,  She is a very contented cat now and is again able to skit up and down the stairs, through the lounge and around the rumpus room, with so much energy thanks to Doc.
